I liked the appearance of the dish when placed on the table.I love the product-BUT- according to the ad it was suppose to be two (2) pans & I only received one (1). So therefore I am very disappointed as I had planned to make meatloaf & freeze 1 & eat 1. I would really appreciate getting the second pan.Jean PayneBetter than metal pans in bread, etc. baking. Browns beautifully and visably easier to determine doneness. The construction and finish of this product are excellent. I have bought and used Anchor Hocking glass cooking dishes for numerous years now. I long ago got rid of all my steel baking pans for these glass ones. I like the durability and ease of cleaning of glass and they don’t RUST after going through the dishwasher every time. I think the price is fair and they last for many years. All I do with these pans after cooking something like lasagna crusted right on the pan is put in the dishwasher with my regular dishwasher tablets without any rinsing and they come out beautiful! I highly recommend this product. These are great. The only problem I have is that they were shipped so they were stacked on top of each other with not enough padding between, so one of them has a smooth but chipped into side. there's no jagged edge and it doesn't affect baking so I kept it. Greater care with packaging would have been appreciated.Very sturdy and nice looking.Quite a bit wider than the loaf pans I’ve used in the past, so cooking times need to be adjusted.Worked just fine though! These are awesome! I love how durable they are and my bread cooks to the perfect tan.Well made heavy-duty dishes.. I've only used them once so I really can't comment on durability but what I can say is, so far so good. Made some wonderful bread ?They definitely price this for two of them, although you only get one. they ship them with the glass in contact with each other, taped extremely tight. As I unwrapped I caught myself on a giant glass shard, as the bottom one breaks during shipping (assumingly) I will update, as I am responded with a solution to thisEdit: they did ship a replacement, packaged correctly. From manufacturer, and not fulfilled by Amazon. Arrived in perfect condition. Expect to have a return, as the number of complaints is large regarding one being broken, the product itself is fantastic oh, and makes a great loaf of breadWell, like everybody else, I got into making bread during this COVID-19 pandemic. I liked the fact that these had big handles as my previous pans had tiny handles and I really had trouble taking those out of the oven with oven gloves on. I do not have this same problem with these Anchor Hocking pans. The handles are large, and the hole in them means that you can actually stick your thumb in an oven glove through the hole to easily grab the pan. Wish I had these years ago. Pretty heavy duty. Have went through the dishwasher quite well.Read alot of reviews on this product regarding them being stacked without protection between and only one pan not a set. They must have got the message mine were delivered perfectly. Packing was well done and the set was delivered not just one. They even broke up my set of into 2 shipments to make they didn't brake. So I got 10 pans (5sets) and very happy with the quality. These are excellent glass loaf dishes. The dimensions are a bit larger than the stated 9" x 5".These require much more dough than a 8" x 4" loaf dish in order to rise well above the top ofthe dish. You will get a quite large loaf of bread if that is what you want. Both of these loaf pans have multiple odd little brown defects ...I cannot using them for baking. It's too much hassle for me to return these so I am using them to hold papers on my desk and garlic on the kitchen counter
